Increasing seq overlap led to decreasing success

When sequece overlap increases from 300 bp to 600 bp,
success rates alway decrease regardless of the identify
of the gene being used.
So a perfect dataset taken from Cytb was generated. All
sequences are of full length (1140bp) and no gaps were
present anywhere in the sequences. Best match and best
closted match (3.33% threshold value) results remained
the same for 300, 600, and 1000 sequence overlap.
Please go to the following directory for the dataset
and results.
Please refer to
P-> TaxonDNA -> Bugs -> Best&Bestclose Match ->
<Cytb_for_testing_increasing_overlap_2.txt> (Dataset)
and <Cytb_for_testing_increasing_overlap.xls) (results)

So we know that the overlap isn't *too* screwy (atleast)!
Yay!
I'm leaving this open in case other reasons come to light to
explain the strange result.
