Hi all, We are happy to announce that, with the merging of Pull Request #703 [1], the *develop* branch of Taurus is now supporting python3 as well as python2 (more specifically, we now support python 2.7 and 3.5 or greater) . Note that, for production environments, **python 2.7 is the only recommended version to be used with Taurus** since the **python 3 support is still not ready for production** , but we encourage our users and developers to try it out and report any bugs found to help us making it stable ASAP. We have done extensive tests to try to avoid introducing regressions for our python2 users but of course we may have missed something. As usual, please report any regressions found. The develop branch will be the base for the next official release (scheduled for Jan 19), so please help us to get this as mature as possible by testing your Taurus-based applications with the latest develop branch using both python2 and python3 (if possible) and reporting not only problems but also successes. Of course, thanks to everybody involved in this development. Cheers!
