[tauruslib-devel] Solution without casting to lowercase

As commented by Carlos in https://sourceforge.net/p/tauruslib/tickets/333/#edb1/983e/d761
the solution does not require casting to lowercase. In continuation please find
the new patch. I applies well to the support-3.x branch. In order to apply it
to the develop branch one must use -3 option e.g. "git am -3 0001-....patch".
