When I change the start time on a recurring task it only changes the first
    occurrence.
    Am I missing something?

    I don't understand.
Could you give an example ?

When I create a task like the one below and change the "start date" to something a little earlier like "start date 2013-05-06 04:00", it seems to only change the first recurring task. Ten days later, it is still 04:15.

      start date 2013-05-06 04:15
      start date reminder 0
      length 01:30
      repeat: every 10 days
      due date: 2013-05-06 05:30
      due date reminder: 0
      timer: 00:00
      repeat from: due date

Also, Is there a way to make future recurring tasks show up in calendar "month view"?

Sorry for my slow reply, I'm overloaded with tasks 8-).

Are you sure of this ? I really doubt it's possible, because the old value is not saved and I couldn't reproduce it.

For the moment, no you cannot display future recurring tasks because the recurring function take a lot of resources.
