Especially since I don't think the root cause is under your control.
That said, in your opinion, is there a potential solution making TaskUnifier Retina Display friendly? Plain english translation .. where the font isn't fuzzy on MacBook Pro Retina Displays.

Well, there was a feature request for the same thing.
I did some search, but unfortunately, the retina display is linked to Java. TaskUnifier is using Java, but so the only thing I can say is to hope that a future version of Java will support retina displays.
Apparently Java 8 for Mac would support retina display, we can only hope this will really happen.

Oracle Java 1.7u40 supposedly added a lot of Retina improvements (http://stackoverflow.com/a/17029720/255961). How can we switch TaskUnifier to using it instead of 1.6 on Mavericks?
Thanks,
dave

I do have it installed, but TaskUnifier is still using the 1.6. In fact, I only had Oracle 1.7 installed and when I installed TaskUnifier it forced me install 1.6.
According to StackOverflow to use Oracle's JDKs (which is now recommended since Apple no longer ships with 1.6) it seems TaskUnifier needs to be rebundled using Oracle's app bundler. I have created a ticket for that - https://sourceforge.net/p/taskunifier/bugs/385/.

Fantastic product. My request is not a major one.

Thank you very much. If I find a solution, I'll post it.

Normally you only have to install it via Oracle website.

But I never tested this.
