Apply template to already existing task

Is there a way to apply a template to an already existing task?

I often have Someday task that I want to make active, apply tags, move to folder etc.
It would be nice to be able to do that as easily as I can with new tasks.

More or less, you can for example assign a template to a task searcher (double click on the task searcher, and select a template).

If you drag and drop a task on the task searcher, the template will be applied.
