TU 4.0.4 for Mac
Macbook Pro (mid-2012) w/Retina OS X 10.8.5 2.7 GHz Intel Core i7 16GB 1600 MHz DDR3 RAM
SSD
After an interval of 4+ hours, TU is unresponsive: it only responds to menu clicks glacially and does the simplest of tasks ever so slowly.
Most of the time, I have to use Activity Monitor to force quit TU. It, of course, then responds with something like "Null argument" upon re-starting up and works fine until it does not work after 4+ more hours of inactivity.
V frustrating. Makes me think of moving to Wunderlist ... If only I didn't have to type in ll my tasks again, I think I would be gone.
Mac has PLENTY of RAM, so probably not being paged out to disk. And Even if so, I have a SSD, so it shouldn't be THAT slow.
What gives?!
Thanks for any suggestions.

Bump ...
Any help here?
Hi,
I use TaskUnifier on Mac also and I never faced this kind of issue.
I try to let it run for more than 4 hours and see.

I answered 3 days ago to your support request.
As you suggested, turning off auto-sync seems to have remedied the issue.
