First, I love Task Unifier, I been using it for some time.
I'm having issues with ToodleDo synch and with publishing Google Tasks. I wondering if the best approach would be to start over.
Uninstall and reinstall or if someone has another option - I'm listening.
Pros:
might solve the problem
phone would finally be in sync (I hope)
no more sync errors
no more publish errors
Cons:
unsure if restore will work on a new install
unsure if restore would restore all Tasks, Folders, Goals, theme
I've customized a theme and I'd hate to lose it
Thanks in advance for your suggestions, insight and help!

Toodledo has a backup download option and a restore option -- backup your data every which way from Sunday -- it backs up everything on the Toodledo server. You should be backing up in this manner every night, in addition to whatever TaskUnifier offers as a contingency backup. It's no big deal to restore your data. TaskUnifier has an option to synchronize by replacing local data from whatever is on the server -- so restore the server with the server backup and then replace the local data and your done. After you back up from the server, you can delete TaskUnifer and reinstall. In terms of backup up a theme associated with TaskUnifier, I'll let leclercb or another forum participant handle that recommendation.
Thanks for your information. It took awhile, but we were able to get the issues resolved and TU works better than ever. I don't use ToodleDo except as the middle software providing the link between TU and my device. I only visit ToodleDo if there is a problem on my device. I don't always have an internet connection, so TU works great for me.
I backup TU multiple times each day. I did go ahead and back up ToodleDo today, but I really rely on TaskUnifier.
Thanks for the suggestion.
