In the preferred draw modes we can choose from
* Visual Style
* PowerToy TaskSwitcher style
* classic style
It should be fairly easy to let people define skins for
TaskSwitchXP. They would consist of
* four images for the four regions of TaskSwitchXP :
north, south, west, east
* one picture for the background of the selected
application iin the list
* a text file (xml, ini, or whatever) defining
+ which images are used for which region and the
background (this could be left out if default names are
used)
+ for each image how wide/high the margin are
+ for each margin and the center: whether it is to
be streched or tiled to make it fit the required space
(the corners are neither streched nor tiled. They stay
as they are).
It should be possible to pack a skin into a zip file
that would then be dropped into some TaskSwitchXP
directory and automatically loaded and presented in a
combo box.
Implementing this feature would make the Windowblinds
bugs obsolete since you would be able to make a
Windowblinds independent skin that would run without
problems under Windowblinds, StyleXP etc.

I don't think a task switcher should be loaded down with the
bloat of skinning.
