    Hi! I use the switcher and it works fine - visualization is what an user is looking for - good job!

    Just to ideas - I know, probably it would increase GUI complexity, but maybe.... so - I would be happy to have to buttons on the switcher screen (on the bottom) - one to kill selected app and second one to launch Task Manager. Quite usefull when something hangs ;-).

      This would be nice. how about:

      Right clicking on an item could show this option in a contextual menu.

      and pressing q while that item is selected.

      that could quit any app also - no need to have quit and force quit as different things.

      I agree "q" to quit would be very useful, I have suggested this to Alexander before and he said he liked the idea and would be adding it to future versions but so far we have not seen it I hope it makes it into final 1.1x release!

      this is similare to MacOS X task switcher which is very sexy and has this feature, you just highlight the app and tap "q" and POOF the app quits.  Very quick when you are running low on memory and you want to quickly close lots of apps......

      It should be optional though, of course. And I would also like to see popup menus.

      Hello all! After some delay I've released new alpha 1.1.2!

      I've added F8 (or T) shortcut key to terminate selected app: TaskSwitchXP forces to terminate all processes except Shell windows (explorer.exe), TSXP closes it. You can tap F8-F8-F8-F8 to kill 4 apps quickly in sequence...
      WARNING: You may loss unsaved application data!

      In addition you can use F4 (or X) shortcut key to close window... but in this case TSXP switches to task and next closes it (the application can show save data confirmation). It's unable to press sequence!  :(
      Maybe I will solve this problem with multiple selection (by Insert key)...

      For MacOS fans: I don't have Mac and I don't know how did he do it... I think Q shortcut key to terminate apps is very dangerous for 'sucking' users!  :))

      Other shortcut keys (for v1.1.2):
        F1, I - show/hide process info tip;
        F5, R - update selected task (preview and caption);
        1, ..., 9, 0 and Num keys - select task number 1, ..., 9, 10;
        Delete - delete current task from list;
        Home, End, Page Up, Page Down, Arrow keys - list navigation;
        Ctrl+[Shift]+Tab - select next instance (multiple windows of a single application - for example IE).

      I will make more shortcut keys for tasks sorting and grouping soon. And I'll take up any more of popup menus!
