When I try to switch to a DirectX application (VOG,
Media Player etc) the DirextX area covers
TaskSwitchXP. Nevertheless all is working fine, it just
looks weird.
I have this too---- first noticed it while playing a QuickTime
movie inside a web browser and then invoking TaskSwitchXP.
After a split second, the Overlay area becomes full size again
(inside the TaskSwitchXP preview area) so it covers the rest
of the window. I don't know if this is unavoidable due to
DirectX etc... maybe a Microsoft bug.
maybe TaskSwitchXP can automatically "black out" or "grey
out" any region that has an overlay so it doesn't do this for
the preview windows?

I think, like with many transparency enabled applications,
the it may be a conflict with the video overlays, although
it seems to still have the same problem even with the
transparency shut off. for the second problem, is it
possiblt that the transparency function is still in use even
though no actual transparency is in visible effect?
