This project looks just like what I have been looking for for a long time. Unfortunately I have absolutely no C, C++, or Perl experience. My abilities are limited to Microsoft's JScript and VbScript and WSH.

I was wondering if it was possible for someone to compile (if that is the right terminology) this package so that is usable in by scripting technologies relying on automation. Or perhaps provide information and some pointers on whether this is possible.

  If you can manage a language as VBScript you can definitely manage Perl ;-)
  
  Also I amrather sure that it is not possibile to use taskscheduler from vbscript, only from vb or C++.
  
  Look at the examples section, you will find many good scripts that will help you to get started.
