#8 Logs "previous day" button broken if date unspecified

If a date is not explicitly specified (such as with the YUI calendar) on the /logs_form.html page, clicking "View Logs" will go to the current day's log. But the date isn't specified in the URL query string so the "previous day" button does not work. (Actually, is there even a need for the initial form page? Could we just add the date picker to the top of all log pages and default to displaying today's log whenever "Log" is clicked in the menu bar?)
