Using Categories to Filter Tasks

  • In the main taskCoach window.
  • If this is a new task file or you already have tasks and categories viewer open skip the next two steps
    • Select view->new viewer->tasks
    • Select view->new viewer->categories
  • Create as many categories as needed. For this demo create cat1 and cat2.
  • Create a task and set the category to cat1.
  • In the category viewer select cat1 only and you will be able to see your task. If you deselect cat1 and select cat2 then anything that doesn't have cat2 will be filtered out.
  • This added feature is very beneficial when working with multiple project/tasks at the same time.
