Tracking Effort

Select a task and hit the start tracking toolbar button:

To stop tracking effort, click the stop tracking toolbar button:

Starting effort tracking for another task will also stop tracking the first task. To see the list of effort records, use the New viewer menu item in the Viewer menu to open an effort viewer.

To track more than one task at a time, start tracking the first task as described above. Then select the second task and create a new effort record for that task using the New effort menu item in the right-click
menu. Don't fill in the effort stop time and hit OK. Task Coach will now track effort for both tasks. Clicking the stop tracking toolbar button will stop tracking for both tasks. If you want to stop tracking effort
for one of the tasks, you'll need to edit the effort record for that task and check the stop time.

Effort Viewer

The effort viewer allows you to see the effort/time you have put into based off of your filtering criteria. By default it is set to show you all the effort put into this Task Coach file. You can filter by day/week/month by selecting them in the drop down in the top of the viewer pane.
