#552 All my tasks are gone
I've been using Task Coach for a few weeks, and it has been at great help for me, managing all my projects. But as I opened TC yesterday, all my tasks were gone! I don't know what to do, and I need help, I'm not an expert in this kind of stuff. Is there any chance getting the tasks back, or are they lost forever?

Maybe you just need to open the .tsk file. The program can load and save multiple task files.
I hope you haven't been just keeping it open with never ever quitting and never saving. That might lead to loss of data. There is an auto-save function though, that is turned on or off in the preferences.
If you can't find and just open the task file, there's a chance a backup exists.
To figure this out, you first need to just try opening a file or otherwise verify that a saved .tsk file exists at all (or ever did exist). If it does exist and can be opened but there are no tasks in it, then it's a matter of something going wrong with the file and hoping to retrieve data from an automatic backup or any other backup method you might have.
