I am running taskcoach 1.4.3-3 under Fedora 25. I use the Cinnamon desktop. The GUI is missing the checkboxes in the "Categories" panel. I have attached two images. The first shows taskcoach running inside a VNC session using the twm window manager. The checkboxes are present as expected. The second image shows the same part of the GUI when running natively using Cinnamon. The checkboxes are missing, but I can still interact with the GUI as if I could see them.

Best wishes -- Peter

I wish there were a way to move this from support requests to bugs, thanks for the report anyway, hope Jerome can speak to the issue or look into it.

Hi, excited to tell you that https://github.com/taskcoach/taskcoach now has updated Python3 Task Coach codebase! Packages are available for some common Linux systems.

This might have fixed issues about display, but we'd love you to test and report back. If you can, please do so and open any relevant issues freshly at GitHub

    Cheers!

Hi, it's many years later, and as I close this old outdated ticket, I'm excited to tell you that https://github.com/taskcoach/taskcoach now has updated Python3 Task Coach codebase! Packages are available for some common Linux systems and we can add more.

We'd love to have you test the updated program

    Cheers
