We are testing Task Coach with a colleague, the tsk file is on a shared drive.
When I create a new task and save, all ticked categories in the task are displayed correctly on my computer.
When my colleage opens the shared file on his pc and uses filters to look for the new task, the task is not displayed. When he removes the filter, the task can be found manually, and the selected categories are displayed in the list view (see highlighted row on screenshot). However, when he opens the task and clicks on the Categories tab, the categories are not ticked (also visible in screenshot). This may be the reason why the filter does not work with the categories.
If this feature does not work reliably, we unfortunately cannot use Task Coach as a shared task manager.
We are also observing the opposite of the above issue, which also seems to be a bug: tasks are sometimes visible when they should not be visible due to filtering on Categories.
In the attached screenshot, tasks belonging to the category "Matthias" are flitered to be displayed. The highlighted task is not assigned to this category, yet it is displayed.

I'll try to reproduce this. What kind of shared drive is this ? Windows SMB, some cloud-based system, something else ?
Thanks for the response. The file is on a Windows share used by my company
