#1569 Effort update cycle too short

I'm running release 1.5.0 on kubuntu 14.10.

My problem:
If I want to manually enter a time for an effort i.e. 23 for the hours, it just accepts one number, updates the whole status tree with 02 and changes afterwards to 03. Same with minutes.

Wouldn't it be better to update after I click on done, or waiting for 2sec or 3 before updating the whole chain?

Hi, it's many years later, and I'm excited to tell you that https://github.com/taskcoach/taskcoach now has updated Python3 Task Coach codebase! Packages are available for some common Linux systems and we can add more.

We'd love to have you test the updated program

I'm sorry nobody replied to this ticket originally. The issue might still be a problem, but we need to test with the new codebase. If this or other issues arise they should be fixable now that development is restarted! We're mostly using the GitHub ticket system now
