I like using the Enter key on the "number keypad" aka "ten key keypad". On Ubuntu 12.04 that key works for opening tasks in Task Coach, but not for marking tasks complete.

(Windows: The four combinations of the two Enter keys and two Ctrl keys all complete the task.)
