Just upgraded to 1.2.28 and lost a most handy function that previous versions had. With a task open, in previous versions I could use the scroll wheel on the mouse to quickly move across the tabs at the top to choose the one I wanted (description, dates,progress, etc.) Since they don't all show at one time, this was extremely handy. Now that does not work, and you must use the arrow button, which takes longer and several clicks. Will this function be restored, or is it gone for good? If it is gone, can I revert to a previous version of Task Coach? The arrow in the attached image shows the area I am talking about. As long as I had my mouse cursor in that area I could quickly scroll across.

What was the last version in which the scrolling with the mouse wheel worked on tabs as far as you know? I tried 1.2.27 on Windows and there it didn't work for me.

I believe it was 1.2.17. I'm glad to hear that it is unintentional and I do hope it can be restored.

What's the deal with this? I'm updating it because it seems not to function on my Mac currently. Did it ever? Do we care? Seems reasonable to have this working…

Hi, it's many years later, and as I close this old outdated ticket, I'm excited to tell you that https://github.com/taskcoach/taskcoach now has updated Python3 Task Coach codebase! Packages are available for some common Linux systems and we can add more.

Incidentally, it may never return, but I bothered opening a new issue in case it is easy to bring back: https://github.com/taskcoach/taskcoach/issues/59
