Up until now, the only place to find information on tarlimit was the sourceforge pages. In my experience, though, a simple web site is better for a quick overview of a program, especially if you aren't familiar with sourceforge. Check it out: http://tarlimit.sourceforge.net/
brennydoogles has joined the project and will be working on Spanish translations of tarlimit. (tarlimit trivia: brennydoogles posted on the ubuntu forums looking for a way to create archives of a folder without exceeding the size of a DVD. The script I made was popular enough that I decided to continue development.)
tarlimit is now making use of the svn repository service offered by Sourceforge. You can browse the svn repository to see (and get) the latest features/fixes in development. Look under the "code" tab for more information about.
As always, only the tagged releases made available in the download section are considered "stable".
Previously I referred to this project as tarLimit. However, for the next release I made a debian package, and the debian standard is that the package name be lowercase. Fearing that new users might be confused, I changed the executable name to tarlimit as well. In short, whenever you used to type "tarLimit", type "tarlimit"
