On a collision course..

The collision engine is almost complete. It is supposed to deal with collision between moving objects. Collision between immobile object, due to whatever reason has yet to be implemented. You can check out the code from the SVN and build it.. it should be pretty straight forward if you have netbeans. and is still possible otherwise.

Lights... CAMERA... Action....

Corny title aside.. i have completed the basic display for the engine. It is based on a camera based framework. Where you can set a camera to cover a specific area in the game world and then display that camera on some particular part of the screen. (Docs on it comming soon, as soon as the website for TaX is up).

Detour ahead

while work on the design and features of TaX is going on, i have created a new game called PaddleBallX, that will be completely boring to paly, feature no better art than what can be created in mspaint (cant wait for it to relase eh?).

Anyways, the reason for this detour, is that i want to test out individual parts of the engine, without having the entire burden of features playing on my mind. So for now i am working on the camera, and various other components, that can be developed without needing to worry about the entire game as a whole.... read more

And now we resume from the break

well, this took a lot longer than expected, but here i am finally back on the project. Hopefully this time ill actually get the things moving and actually be able to compelte the game.

I am including yorrick for ideas, and to help design the game, and ofcourse to help with the coding. And getting in carl to work with the GUI and the graphic designs.

So lets see how far this goes...

Let the show begin...

Well the project has been registered and approved and here i am preparing to launch the project. Slowly but surely ill get around to cleaning all the code on my computer and putting it to dry on the sourceforge servers. Wait and watch for the code to appear.

I would be needing good (umm.. above average.. umm actually anyone who can design ui for a game, various screens etc) though i wont be taking in new members till i finsih properly settling the game on these servers..
