#109 Multiple databases for Tango on a single server

A request from ANKA:

we are using at ANKA as also at ESRF a separate tango database for each beamline, but we wanted to support one central tango-database server. This was not directly supported by tango, as database names have been hard coded. We made a patch for tango to support flexible database names and ports. This patch is stable at ANKA since several years. Unfortunately this patch is still for tango 8.0.5, but we want soon to upgrade. We create a new beamline database by the script

TANGO_DB_NAME=tango_<blname> ./create_db.sh</blname>

My request is, if this patch can become part of the official tango kernel.
