HOWTO -Record from speakers with 3.5mm cable using the Microphone option

What you won't need if you have the cable:
–  Stereo Mix
– Line In
What you will need:
     – computer
~$7.00 audio cable that has a single headphone plug on each end  Example:

working headphone port (it may work with speaker port to)
working microphone port
Taksi 779 dev or later
Process: speakers/headphones are what you hear (output).  Microphones you speak into (input)
The wire will play the audio (out) of the speaker into the microphone port.  Sound appears to be stereo or better.

Steps
  1.  Make sure the audio levels are the same for both the mic and speaker port in the volume control panel.  50% was ok, you can move the slider left,right with the arrow key. 
2.  After you plug in the wire to both ports you won't hear sound, but you should be able to record
  You don't need to use the microphone boost setting (I didn't anyways)
3.  Make sure Taksi is set up to record from the microphone.
