Does anyone use this list anymore? It looks pretty empty, but it seems
to be my best bet for trying to get ahold of some tahoe developers.
Anyway, in my spare time the past couple of months I've put together a
build of tahoe that uses CMake instead of the tahoe-manager makefiles
system. It uses Mercurial for revision control, which lets me track my
changes while keeping it up to date with the current CVS tree.
Other than the Aztec module and the Sierra material, all of the tahoe
modules, elements, and materials build and are functional on the
latest stable gcc 4.5. In addition, the basic modules like expat,
tahoe and toolbox can even be built on Windows platforms using Visual
Studio, thanks to CMake's generator.
If anyone wants to give try it out, I'd welcome the feedback. Right
the Mercurial repository is hosted on private server of mine. I'd like
to move to bitbucket or some open host once (if) I get some nod of
approval from an official tahoe person.
Anyone here have a problem with this? Perhaps it would help inject
some new life into the tahoe project, especially with the native
windows build being at least basically functional.
