TagMail is intended to solve the problems associated with information exchange and communication across a product life cycle, namely inconvenient processing and retrieval of conversation threads. It should enable communication to be captured and quickly retrieved through the use of manual and automatic tagging (in subject lines), being automatically filed by a TagMail service scanning a data account which would be cc'd on all relevant communication.

TagMail should facilitate the standardization of tags for product, project, and reference tracking. Multiple tags should enable further categorization according to communication or information type, e.g- requirement, request, task, response, etc.

Development is currently in the concept stage. All ideas and support within the scope of this project definition are welcome.
