Hi,

Taekwindow is great, except when some applications do use the alt+mouse left/right button shortcuts which get disabled.
This is very annoying with Maya for example, as Takewindow must be disabled each time I want to work with it.

By looking at some given pattern in the title, Taekwindow could choose not to take control of the alt+mouse moves.

Such a feature would also solve the following feature request: "[ 1653698 ] Restrict to left-Alt for window dragging"

PS for the last point of your faq(I'm not sure what exactly, but I think it makes a nice logo):
The Taeguk is the symbol of Korea, the blue part being the water all around the land (well on 3 sides out of 4) according to my wife. And according to the Wikipedia, it also "refers to the "forms" used to create a foundation for the teaching of Taekwondo".

Hi, I'm answering to myself. Here is a patched version of Taekwindow that does the job; the zip file contains both the patched hook.cpp and new binaries:
    http://tfpsly.free.fr/Files/taekwindow-0.1.1PatchedMaya.zip

I quickly added a fix for Maya and Photoshop, looking for the name of the application. For these applications, I disabled Taekwindow. Not in a cleaned way, as the names of the windows should not be stored in the source code, but it does the job.

tfpsly, thanks a lot for your comment and the patch. I don't use Maya myself, but I had noticed that things get annoying in Photoshop. Some form of configurable blacklisting (or even whitelisting) is definitely needed. I'll probably use the window class to determine the window in question, allowing the user to simply click the windows that should be blacklisted. In the mean time, Maya and Photoshop users can use your patched version.

Also, I've added your information to the FAQ. Thanks!

WinMover allows to add items to the blacklist by adding a path to the executable, not by adding (parts of) the window title. To me this seems as a nicer way to define what apps should be blacklisted.

Since no two applications are the same, we should offer a combination of window class (probably the best option, most of the time), window title and executable name (probably without path). Will need some thought to make these work together.

Having just discovered this awesome utililty (after discovering WinMover basically kills explorer.exe on load on my win7 x64 box), I too would love this feature.

StrokeIt does it brilliantly... perhaps check that code?
