An option could be added to the title bar menu that allows the user to keep that particular window on top or keep it below all others. Or perhaps a button next to the Minimize/Maximize/Close buttons?

http://www.palma.com.au/winroll/ WinRoll implements the ability to toggle Always On Top by mid-clicking the close box. Perhaps his source could be of use.

"WinRoll is lovingly hand-crafted in 100% pure assembly language to give the fastest response and the smallest memory footprint."

Thanks :) I'll have a look as soon as I feel like implementing this feature.

I'd like this feature too - I really miss it. Seeing that the request was submitted in 2007, and it is still not implemented - I would like to find out whether it has been discarded from the roadmap for some reason.

The problem with Winroll is that it does not work on my Windows 7 x64 system. The right-click menu for a window is disabled; the effect of a right-click is that the window is resized into a smaller one.

"Lovingly crafted in assembly" - sounds delicious, I admit :-)

There is no roadmap, per se. I work on Taekwindow when I have the time and feel like it, doing the work I feel like doing. Highest on my mind are currently:
    1. Reliability issues with the latest release, 0.3.1
    2. A configurable blacklist

If you feel like lovingly crafting this feature in C++, though, go ahead!
