My fault - I mis-spoke.  No, I wasn't confusing the two installation
procedures :-)  I was trying to install ACK in the same directory that I
had set up for the LLgen binary, in order to localize the installation.

This and the other part of the email (about flag specifying the location
for LLgen) perhaps does point towards re-merging LLgen into ACK and
bootstrapping it.
