That linked document is a good read. Must mention it on the ForthSpace at Parallax. Once people understand what's included in Tachyon/Taqoz and why then there should be far less hesitation to try it at least.
And once they try it....they'd be (no, I won't say it) not to use it.

Bear in mind though that the purpose of the document is not about all that Tachyon can do, it's more about what's different about Tachyon from other Forths. But in the process I am talking about Tachyon and its advantages anyway 😄

Speaking ones mind in a foreign language isn't always all that easy :).
When I said "what's included" I meant exactly what you say - included are distinct features not present in other Forths that make Tachyon superior to them in many practical aspects - but apparently that's not what I wrote.

There's no misunderstanding and nothing clumsy about your writing. It simply causes me to think a bit further about who is reading the doc and "maybe" because of that thought I should take that into account. For instance, this doc compares what's different but if they have never used Forth then I need to perhaps have another document saying what Tachyon is, rather than isn't. Just thinking.....
btw, I find it hard to believe that "nothing" is missing 😄
Cheers

Ok, fair enough. I don't know what's missing. To know that I'd need to know what was intended to be there and since I do not have that knowledge I can't really say.
I'm not sure if that separate document is even necessary. What is already available pretty much points out where Tachyon is superior and argues why. If I can see that, anybody can.
The point is, and that comes from my only limited experience with Tachyon, once I started to play with it, I find it rather difficult to revert to other, more standard, Forths. Working with Tachyon is just much more convenient and "natural".
I think what's keeping people away from using Tachyon as a first choice is the current platform for which it is available. I'm sure I have said that before elsewhere but my interest in the P1 and P2 was triggered by the discovery of your Tachyon. Until then I have barely noticed them and quickly dismissed the use of them as I perceived these chips to be hard to use with spin or C. Forth just gives so much more freedom and convenience and, contrary to C or spin, it's fun to use.

I've noticed the Tachyon Forth Model doc (under the link) got fatter and prettier. Looks like it's worthy to check it out from time to time. Thank you.
Off topic but extremely interesting: how do you find the time for all this stuff you do ? I can carve out an hour and a half a day for all things other than work and family and I sleep only around six hours.

Sleep? Work? Huh? If we do what we enjoy then it isn't work, it's play, isn't it?
Actually I'm not that industrious, but while I need time to "play", the actual job is easy.

Yes, that's what I was looking for !
I've referenced that page on the Parallax ForthSpace.
Thanks Maciek, I also updated the Wiki page with a link to the document since it is a work-in-progress.
Cheers

Well maybe I should also talk about what is included too. What have I missed?
Nothing :).
I was referring to my clumsy writing not expressing precisely what I meant. English is not my first language. That's what I meant.
