#1 can't get tablaunch to work : String array too small!String

I Tried tablaunch 0.5 and 0.6 on gentoo PPC with either
imlib and imlib2 (with xfce4 as wm).
Compilation is ok but I cannot get it to work fine : I
get some
runtime errors

using :
media-libs/imlib-1.9.14-r2
media-libs/imlib2-1.2.0.004

I did follow the instructions :
