Just installed Tab Effect, but I'm seeing no change anywhere. I switch between tabs and it's still the same as before. I stay on the same tab but load a new web page, still the same.

I'm running Firefox 2.0.0.1. When I go to Tools -> Add-ons, it shows Tab Effect 1.1 and the Options button is grayed out. There's also a Disable and Uninstall button.

At this point, I don't know what to expect. Is there documentation somewhere? Or screenshots or video? Just something so I know what it's _supposed_ to be doing.

Additional info. I just figured something out. I've got three Firefox windows open, each one with several tabs. I'm on one window, and I can see a portion of another window behind this one. I clicked on a tab and I noticed in the window behind this one that it "rolled".

After further testing, I found that the roll effect only happens in one of the three windows. So, if I'm on window #1 (for lack of a better name) and click a tab, it rolls nicely. But if I'm on window #2 or #3 and click a tab, the roll still happens in window #1. Kind of strange-looking actually. When this happens, the tab in window #1 doesn't actually change, it just rolls from the current tab to itself.

I haven't figured out how it knows which window to roll in. Maybe it's the first one I opened.

i have the same Problem Could it be possible that the problem happens because we use a version that is higher than the add on was develop for ???

I have also installed the tab effect, and it doesnt work ...
Reinstalled Firefox (2.0.0.9), reinstalled the tab effect, updated my graphic driver ... but it still doesnt work ...
My freind installed it and it worked without any problems ...

i beleve its vista becouse my brother just runs it fine and it looks quite good i have to say, also try installing .net framwork 1.1+3.0 also make sure you have DirectX 8+(since im in the installation process i cant test that for now)

I am having the same problem with Firefox 2.0.0.11. The screenshot looks interesting, but I haven't noticed any difference.

This used to work great until I had to re-install windows vista. When I reloaded firefox and put tab effects in this time it doesn't work anymore. Not sure if it's a new version of firefox or what...Please advise on how to resolve this as I really love this add on.

I have downloaded this plugin and not working too. OS: Windows Vista. I think its because of nvidia graphics card. My 3 three friends installed it too on radeon cards and the plugin works for the first time they use. 2 of them have windows vista and 1 have windows xp.
