How to Install t1n1wall

The easiest way to install t1n1wall, is to grab the 1.10.x iso, use unetbootin to write the ISO to a USB disk and boot from that disk.

The harder way, is to grab an img file, and write it to a disk using physidiskwrite in windows or dd in Linux or Mac.

M0n0wall instructions are still the same for t1n1wall http://m0n0.ch/wall/physdiskwrite.php

**What are all these images ? **
Well there are two types , img and iso . ISO images are a CD image to burn to CDROM and boot . IMG images are disk images, they need to be written using the above method direct to a disk.

There are then two types of IMG images, with and without installer, basically the one with installer adds an option to write to disk. These images should be written to a usb key, then boot from that key to install to an internal disc. Like an APU device

Then there are two more types, amd64 and not amd64, amd64 images are for systems with 64bit CPUs

Lastly, there are two further types, generic-pc, and generic-pc-serial. Some devices don't have any video output for a monitor, on these devices , use the generic-pc-serial image, it sends all the text out the serial port. Note: some systems redirect the video/text out the serial in their BIOS, so you may need to use generic-pc on those types .
