On page http://www.t1dbase.org/page/HelpPopup/?topic=captcha the t1dbase-feedback email address is visible. In the underlying code the '@; is substituted for the html code equivalent. Perhaps this is one source of where out spam is coming from ? I assume that the new rules that Vin has set up prevent people from using this anyway so I suggest that we remove it (and any other references like this on the site).
Need to grep for string [% help_email.replace('@', '@') %] or even mailto ?
Checked, the help_email is referenced in following pages.
GDxBase/htdocs/templates/popup_header.tt:
GDxBase/htdocs/templates/error.tt:
GDxBase/htdocs/templates/TACOheader.tt:
GDxBase/texts/faq.txt:
GDxBase/texts/submit_help.txt:
GDxBase/htdocs/templates/help_file_js.tt
t1dbase_w_GDxBase/texts/help/dil_candidate.txt:
t1dbase_w_GDxBase/texts/help/captcha.txt:
Updated captcha.txt, in other pages it is mostly in link tag
link rev="made" href="mailto:[% help_email.replace('@', '@') %]"
discuss and update
