#7 similar "not possible to install driver" error

hi,

I'm having basically the same problem as another person
submitted... they said that they solved it by starting again... I've
started again multiple times trying different things each time and
installing everything I think might help.

basically it gets to the "checking which drivers can be installed on
this system" part, does a couple of tests and fails after
"Pa_Initialize in -lportaudio... yes"

any help is greatly apprectiated. If you need more info just say so,
