The KDE version can display very long tooltips, which
makes it useful for mail tray icons and such. The Windows
version can not currently do this.

I wondered if this was a Windows limitation, but the
network status icon seems to be able to display more...

Just did some more research on the net. The limitation is in
shell32.dll, and on v5 and above it is 128 chars. Also on v5 and
up there is the bubble tooltip, which could be used for longer
strings...
