SystemImager 3.7.6 released

SystemImager is software which automates Linux installs, software distribution, and production deployment.

SystemImager makes it easy to do automated installs (clones), software distribution, content or data distribution, configuration changes, and operating system updates to your network of Linux machines. You can even update from one Linux release version to another!

Release 3.7.6 is the first 3.8.0 release candidate and it should be considered the most stable release available at the moment. Please, test it and continue reporting bugs to to have a great 3.8.0! ;-)

This release includes new hardware support and many bug fixes that makes it more portable on most any distribution. There are also three new commands available:

  • si_mkautoinstalldisk: a tool to create autoinstall disks (it can be used to create bootable USB devices)
  • si_psh: a fast and scalable distributed shell embedded in SystemImager (Beta)
  • si_pcp: a fast and scalable program to concurrently push files to multiple nodes (Beta)
