New developer(s) searched

Hello folks.

I'm sorry to inform you that I probably won't continue development on SysIcon any more as I didn't do the last three quarters of a year. I switched over my OS to Linux and you can imagine that a Windows system icon editor there is pretty useless.

I would be glad if someone would like to continue the development of SysIcon as I just noticed there still are some downloads per week. Volunteers are welcome to leave me a message (post to my user account please).

Rearranged SVN repository contents

Yesterday the files inside the Subversion repository have been rearranged.
You won't find version 1.3.2 in the "/trunk" anymore, it has moved to "/tags/1.3.2-last" as its development has finished. Future development will concentrate on version 2.0 which has been moved to "/trunk". Please switch your Subversion paths.

Second try of a second version

Today I commited the new try of a second version of SysIcon to the SVN repository (in /svnroot/sysicon/branches/2). I also commited a file release, before I forget about that.

So far there are still features missing that were present in Version 1.x (e.g. the icon library features) and it's not throughly tested but there are dozens of new changable icons and many of them can be edited per user.
But I have to add that especially the last bunch of icons in the list is neither tested nor may it be meaningful... the list is far from completed.
But as the icons list is now stored in an XML-file that goes with the .exe file it is possible to commit changes very easily, without even re-installing (or rather unzipping the executables...)... read more

SVN Repository Content Commited

SysIcon's sourcecode is now available via SVN.
I'll commit all changes, so you can recieve the most current files from there.
At this time, there is a kind of break in the development of SysIcon, because I've a lot of things to do for school... after that is finished it will be (hopefully) more active again.
So far I hope the 1.3.2 beta2 is stable enough to be useable. (Beta means only, that I did not spend very much time testing it)

SysIcon 1.3.1 released

The new version comes with several translation changes (and a changed system, how they are loaded, in the code) and a Mainmenu at the top. New are 2 menu items to get to the released files page at Sourcefoge and to the (not yet via Soruceforge hosted) SysIcon homepage. (so the user can easily see, whether there are new versions...)

SysIcon 1.3.0 released!

SysIcon version 1.3 was just released!
Great new feature: save icons to an icon library and keep your current icons in it so the settings will never be lost!
