I have recently configured a few realms across the SCC-SRV host to perform some basic separation of hosts (no security or access restrictions applied at this stage).
Commands used:
scc-realm --add --quick --list <serv1>,<serv2>,... Melbourne
scc-realm --add --quick --list <serv3>,<serv4>,... Adelaide
scc-update -f
The realm creation and population of required hosts succeeds, however since doing so I can see daily messages in the change reports for the server hosting the SCC webpage:
new: unknown prefix:./scc_0600_s_software: line 1701: [: /var/opt/scc-srv/data/www/Adelaide: binary operator expected
new: unknown prefix:./scc_0600_s_software: line 1701: [: /var/opt/scc-srv/data/www/Melbourne: binary operator expected
Functionality appears to be unaffected, however it would be ideal if the daily error messages didnt occur and get presented as change items in the output.
Also, when running scc-update -f I am being presented with the following:
/opt/scc-srv/bin/scc-summary: line 740: [: too many arguments (multiple lines of the same output)
The update appears to work as expected and I can see no ill effects aside from the error message.
Could you please provide the SVN ID's of scc_0600_s_software and scc-summary?
Does the name of one your realms contain a space?

I reproduced both errors by creating a realm with a space in the name. I have extended the tests of both scc and scc-srv to report this error and then fixed both files and ran the tests without errors. I have uploaded new versions of scc and scc-srv. Please check whether the new versions solve your issues.
Hey Siem,
### ID: $Id: scc_0600_s_software 6227 2019-05-01 17:26:12Z siemkorteweg $I have actually just added a realm with a space in it, however, this was presenting with just the above displayed realms (Melbourne & Adelaide), no spaces in them.
I'll grab the new versions to test and advise accordingly.
Thanks again.
Jeff.
Hey Siem,
Ive gone ahead and installed the newly released scc/scc-srv. The scc-update -f error messages have vanished.
Equally, I have just performed a manual collection and update on the presentation server and all of the "...binary operator expectged" messages have also vanished.
Everything looks good from here for both scc & scc-srv new versions.
Once again I thank you for your extremely speedy resolution.
Thanks and regards,
Jeff.
Hello Jeff,
Good to see the issues have been resolved. I will close this bug.
regards,
Siem
