Hi,
I am experimenting problems with my webcam when y have my computer long time working.

My computer is an asus x20s (i think is f9 series) and the webcam is identified like this:

Bus 003 Device 002: ID 174f:6a33 Syntek Web Cam - Asus F3SA, F9J, F9S

I'm using debian testing/sid with kernel 2.6.32 and i386 arquitecture, my uname -a :

 2.6.32-trunk-686 #1 SMP Sun Jan 10 06:32:16 UTC 2010 i686 GNU/Linux

I'm not really sure if it  is a problem of the driver because it works quite well when the system is recently booted or rebooted, although i get this error message while booting or loading module in dmesg:

[61765.286652] stk11xx: Check device return error (0x0201 = 0C) !
[61765.291742] stk11xx: Check device return error (0x0201 = 0C) !

i get this message about 20 times or more while the led of the webcam is blinking, but finaly stops and everything works well.

the problem comes when the system is working more than 12 o 18 hours without shutting down or rebooting.  At that moment, i can't make the webcam working with any of the aplications (even with tty aplications like motion or webcam-server). getting this message:

[169660.805052] vmap allocation for size 10489856 failed: use vmalloc=<size> to increase size.
[169660.805058] stk11xx: Failed to allocate image buffer(s). needed (10485760)
[169660.805062] stk11xx: Failed to allocate buffer memory !

I have 2 gb of RAM.

unloading and reloading the module does not fix the problem.  I have to reboot the system to get it work again.

Thank you very much for you time and sorry if I made mistakes with my poor english.
