I have just seen that it's quite active and released V5.7 Fix 1 <http://www.cnzjw.net/qiutian/blog/article.asp?id=25>
Since, I don't know Chinese or how to contact the author, I post my questions here:
1. Is it updated to English?
2. Do you have updated <http://pyscripter.googlepages.com/SynEditStudio.rar>? (or do you have direct download link?)

Many thanks for your efforts. FWIW, I have noted that it doesn't have any Unicode support; I have e-mailed the author to know if there is any plan for it, but yet to receive reply.
