I see machines for 50 dollars on Amazon and then I see Vlad Blad for 500 or 800 euros. Is there really that much of a difference? I am just starting out and I don't have a huge budget. Can I just use a cheap machine for now and upgrade later? Or is it a waste of money?

I know it is tempting to save money when you are starting, but cheap equipment will hold you back. You are strictly paying for consistency and motor quality. Cheap motors burn out, they heat up, and they don't hit the same way twice. When you buy pro tattoo guns like Vlad Blad, you are paying for the engineering that ensures every needle puncture is perfect. This leads to better healing for your client and better work for your portfolio. If your machine is fighting you, your art will suffer. Think of it as an investment. One or two good tattoos will pay for the machine. It is better to buy one good machine than five cheap ones that will break in a month. Save up and get the real deal.
