I've told you this before, but thought I'd file a ticket since you're working toward the v1.7 release.

Today I tried again to download the official Mac build for the v1.7 RC, but after it unzips on my desktop, there's a big slash through the icon. If I attempt to launch SyncTerm by double-click, MacOS says:

You can't use this version of the application "SyncTerm.app" with this version of MacOS.
You have MacOS %@. The application requires MacOS %@ or later.

Something must be wonky in the build setup.

(Edit by Deuce: This was specifically reported for Mojave v10.14, but this will apply to any older version)

Official builds are currently done with a minimum supported version of 13.0. I assume that 10.x can't comprehend the major version being anything but 10. :D

The main reason for this is simply that the current developer tools won't target old enough versions anymore, but the fact that Apple isn't willing to support older versions also plays into it.

It is expected that users of older macOS versions will build from source (ideally, there would be support in Fink/MacPorts/Homebrew or whatever the cool kids are using these days).
