Unable to copy and paste while connected to a BBS on MacOS.
I am able to copy and paste on the main menu when adding/editing a directory item.
However, while connected to a board, when trying to select text in SyncTerm with the mouse curser, nothing happens when I click. Likewise, when text is copied from another app, right clicking does not paste the text into SyncTerm when connected to a board.
Doesn't matter whether I'm windowed for full-screen, the behaviour is the same.
2015 13" MacBook Pro
MacOS 10.15.5
SyncTERM 1.1rc4 - SDL (downloaded from https://sourceforge.net/p/syncterm/)
Currently using SyncTERM 1.0 - SDL which does allow me to copy/paste while connected.

It's likely that the BBS is enabling a mouse events, which causes mouse events to be sent to the remote rather than be used locally. Both Synchronet and Mystic have recently started enabling mouse capture modes at all times, which will interfere with your ability to highlight with the mouse.
You should be able to paste using SHIFT+Insert at least, but there's no keyboard-based selection mechanism in SyncTERM currently. For the next release something will likely be done about this situation, but it's not clear yet what the correct solution is.
I have same behavior on GNU/Linux . The right click to paste the x clipboard are gone.
Using shift + insert as workaround just work.
Also for copy just change into scrollbuffer with ALT+B and you can copy selecting the text and using mouse
Saludos!
After the upgrade to MacOS Big Sur I am no longer able to run Syncterm 1.0. 1.1 does run but I'm still unable to paste. I can copy if I go into scrollback mode to copy text from the board, but pasting still doesn't work.
I'm on a MacBook so middle clicking & insert keys are absent.
Unfortunately I don't own a Mac. I'll see if I can borrow time on one before the next release to look into this.
Just confirmed that right-click and middle-click both paste on Big Sur.
