Syncterm on Mac uses discrete GPU at 100% - killing the battery in my laptop in about an hour.
Attempting to force syncterm to use the integrated CPU causes syncterm to crash immediately on startup.
Please remove the necessity for syncterm to use the discrete GPU at all.
It's possible you can make SDL behave differently using environment variables. SyncTERM on macOS uses SDL for the display.
