I don't appear to be getting copies of my email on this list. I don't know if anyone is receiving my requests/help. Is anyone seeing these? The mail list option: "Receive your own posts to the list?" is set to Yes but not getting them. If you are reading this then please email me directly and copy the list - I don't want millions of replies ;) Thanks, David --------------------------------------- Managing Director +44 (0) 7866 262 398 BigSoft Limited Reading, UK http://www.bigsoft.co.uk/ Registered in Cardiff, Wales 3960621 |

Hi all, I'd like to uninstall the SugarcrmConnector and install the newest one. The last time I tried this I would up with a broken ds_server, so I thought I ask here first. I'm on Windows, and the command I used to install was d:\programs\Funambol\ds-server\> set PATH=%PATH%;bin d:\programs\Funambol\ds-server\> install-modules.cmd tomcat55 Is it just the same command? PS: You can see that the funambol_ds_server_administration_guide.pdf is a bit lacking in this department: Uninstalling a Module To uninstall a module, perform the following: 1. Open the <DS_SERVER_HOME>\install.properties file. 2. Find the modules-to-install= property and delete the module from the comma- separated list. 3. Save and close install.properties. _4. Reinstall the application server and rebuild the database._ (huh?!) NOTE: The modules-to-uninstall= property in the install.properties file currently is ignored, but may be implemented in future releases. Thanks in advance! -- |

Hey Guys, I was wondering if there was any tutorial or other information about creating an officer for authentication. I'd like the server to automatically provision devices but not users. Additionally, I'd like the server to authenticate users against some other tables as well. I've seen the module and tutorial connectors, but was wondering if there was something that was a little more officer focused/centric? Thanks! Evan Ruff |

Hello Evan, I have just sent out to this list two documents for review (Funambol Developers Guide and Funambol Connector Development Tutorial), which are targeted to developers and might be an answer to your question. Please, see if you can find the information you need in them. If you feel there are other topics that need to be covered or perhaps some topics need to be described in more detail, let us know! Ciao and thank you, Giulia -- Giulia Zanchi Funambol Tech Writer funambol :: mobile open source :: http://www.funambol.com ________________________________________ From: syn...@li...
