In the context of the Hero Program, "help" or "support" includes reminding
community members who post bugs to the mailing list(s) that they should post
bugs as set forth in the Bag-a-Bug Program to get credit for their

We are pleased to announce the launch of the Funambol Community Hero
Program.  Much like the Bag-a-Bug Program launched last month (you can see

...the primary goals of the Hero Program aim to benefit and make life easier
for the entire community.  We hope to encourage sharing of experience and
acquired knowledge and to promote dialogue among community members.
Striving for these goals will only help to sustain and strengthen the great
community that has grown around the Funambol Project.

Hero Program Highlights:
Earn Hero Points for answering questions introduced by community members on
the mailing lists (this one or Yahoo!).  Funambol Community Heroes with
enough points will be posted in the open source area of the Funambol site.
The top Hero Point earner for each three-month period will win an iPod Nano.
Another iPod Nano will be given away in a lottery drawing at the end of the
same period - you can earn lottery entries with the Hero Points you
