[funambol-users] Outlook: Failed to create empty document

Any idea what causes the following error upon opening the plugin?

"Failed to create empty document"

We've seen this for a handful of users (<3%).  I've been able to do some research and determine it's related to the UI and some windows library (did this search some time ago, so the details are fuzzy).  Everything I found, though, was ancient.

This error occurs in a popup, after which the plugin terminates.  No details are logged.  Please let me know what other information you might need to diagnose this.

Ideas?
