[funambol-users] Filter which objects will be synced (Exchange Public Folder)

Hello,

I've got some people here who want to sync the contacts of their mobile
phones with one exchange public folder.

So far no problem - but they want only those contacts on the exchange
server to be synced, which they have marked for themselves.

This mark will be just a comma seperated list of initials in some
contact field. If the field contains the initial of the user it shall be
synced otherwise it shall be ignored.

What they want is a common base of contacts from which they pick those
which are important for them. The public folder contains about 500
contacts. Each user only needs about 100 of them.

My idea is to set up one sync source for each user. The sync source then
applies the described filter and offers only those contacts for
synchronisation which relevant to the user.

Has anyone ever setup something like this?
